EPSON HAS COLOR
Color printing is making its way to the desktop near you as
printer manufacturers begin to focus on the growing home
market for ink jet printers. Epson America's first color
ink jet printer, the Stylus Color, has the technology that
delivers 360 by 360 dpi resolution on plain paper and the
option to use specially coated paper from Epson for up to
720 by 720 dpi output.
The printer ships with four scalable fonts and five bitmapped
fonts. It has a seperate cartridge for printing cayan, yellow,
megenta, and black ink at either 200 characters per second in
monochrime or 3 minutes per page in color, The Epson ink jet
uses high pressure nozzles that are activated by electronic
impules to give you the color that won't bleed.
The software drivers limit the time you'll spend waiting for
image processing, because it performs tasks in the background
and frees applications as soon as possible.
