  1. 4-27-94                         Serial Cable

  3.      An  internal  modem does not need a serial cable.
  4.  
  5.       An  external  pkged specifically for a MAC with  MAC  software,  will
  6.  
  7. normally include a MAC cable. All Macs use the same cable.
  8.  
  9.      An external that is NOT pkged for a MAC will not have a cable,  unless
  10.  
  11. ordered specifically that way by a dealer. An external modem may be used on
  12.  
  13. a  PC, which may have THREE kinds of serial ports, or a terminal  or  other
  14.  
  15. which  requires  a Null-modem cable. Because there are at lest 4  kinds  of
  16.  
  17. cables, they are NOT included.
