  10.  the rhetoric of another time 
  11.  once full of passion, so full of rage 
  12.  now sits silently on a dusty page 
  13.  My mind ablaze with cries of war 
  14.  billowing waves on empty shores 
  15.  echo solemnly throughout the night 
  16.  a distant memory, a vivid sight  
  17.  Smoking timbers and charred remains 
  18.  Damn the fates and their bitter skeins 
  19.  in a single moment, all that mattered 
  20.  my life, my home, my world was shattered 
  21.  A cry of anguish, bittersweet 
  22.  How dare you leave and not take me? 
  23.  Amid the pieces of my soul 
  24.  a shred of longing to be whole  
  25.  a lingering desire, a gentle nudge 
  26.  simple laughter and words of love 
  27.  In my dreams, I touch the face 
  28.  that now lies silently in a humble grave 
  29.
