  19.         IMPORT will add notes from any ASCII text file to the end of
  20.         existing NOTES2.DAT records for any individual in your database. 
  21.         It does not modify, nor insert data within the text of existing
  22.         notes. If notes already exist for the selected individual the new
  23.         information will be added to the end.  If such notes do not
  24.         already exist, a new note record will be created.

  26.         While it is recommended that you select each individual for which
  27.         you want to import notes by RIN, limited search capabilities are
  28.         built into IMPORT to help you find the RIN.  These facilities are
  29.         neither as extensive nor as fast as those offered by PAF itself.

  31.         Input text files must meet the same requirements as PAF specifies
  32.         for external note files.  That is, lines not to exceed 79
  33.         characters and containing no characters from the extended ASCII
  34.         set.  Formatted text should be created using spaces rather than
  35.         tabulation.  Double spacing the lines will create what PAF
  36.         considers a separate note for each line.  If several consecutive
  37.         blank lines are in the text, only the first will be imported into
  38.         the notes file.

  40.         After importation of a text file, the notes can be edited or
  41.         deleted from within PAF by the normal methods.  Importation of
  42.         notes does not interfere with the continued entry of notes to that
  43.         record in the normal manner from within PAF.  Entries by either
  44.         method may be alternated if so desired.

  46.         Some copies of the file IMPORT26.ZIP contain a bad documentation
  47.         file.  The executable program is always the latest version.
