  10. its MultiBase 5.0 tailored for operating within an integrated
  11. online or BBS environment.

  13.         MultiBase 5.0 Online was designed in cooperation with The
  14. Business BBS of Los Angeles, CA and TeleGrafix of Huntington
  15. Beach, CA. It combines all the powerful xBASE features of
  16. MultiBase 5.0 with commercial online capabilities, and the
  17. Graphical User Interface development and imaging capabilities of
  18. the Remote Imaging Protocol (RIPscript) technology. Multibase 5.0
  19. Online will be distributed exclusively in the United States and
  20. Canada by The Business BBS.

  22.         MultiBase 5.0 Online allows System Operators, System
  23. Integrators, and VARS to build custom client applications which
  24. combine powerful relational database capabilities with key
  25. commercial online software, such as Document Management and
  26. Retrieval.

  28.         The MultiBase 5.0 Online environment includes a
  29. comprehensive xBASE programming language. It supports and can
  30. recompile the most popular relational database languages including
  31. dBASE, Fox-BASE, Clipper Summer'87 and most DBXL, FoxPro and
  32. Clipper 5.0 programs.

  34.         The multi-user, client-server, multi-processor nature of
  35. MultiBase 5.0 Online allows up to 32 users per MultiBase server.
  36. Multiple servers are linked via LAN. Connections can be made to
  37. MultiBase servers at different locations. Additional connectivity
  38. and gateway features allow links to other distributed resources.

  40.         MultiBase 5.0 Online's integration with commercial
  41. bulletin board software provides easy access to a dispersed base
  42. of users via modem, LAN, serial port, and X.25. All commercial
  43. bulletin board software features are supported including
  44. individual or distributed electronic mail aith attached files and
  45. reports, fax-on-demand, libraries, gateways, and more. The host
  46. BBS connects to MultiBase via serial port.

  48.         With integrated RIPscript technology, application
  49. developers can quickly build custom Graphical User Interfaces and
  50. incorporate an ever expanding range of image and multi-media
  51. features. The entire application can have a consistent look and
  52. feel, so end users can easily navigate.
