  7.    Here is some important information reguarding the character set used in
  8.  
  9.    in the editor. Pressing the following keys on the keyboard will generate
  10.  
  11.    the corresponding character on the display screen when in text <TX> mode.

  14.    SPECIAL keys in text mode:
  15.    --------------------------

  17.     The (!) will generate a (')             --  as in 6000'
  18.  
  19.     The (;) will generate a degrees symbol  --  as in 030 deg.
  20.  
  21.     The (+) will generate a (+) sign        --  as in 5800+
  22.  
  23.     The (-) will generate a (-) sign        --  as in 3000-
  24.  
  25.     The ({) will generate a (+/-) sign        --  with + over the -
  26.  
  27.     The (}) will generate a morse dash      --  thicker horiz bar
  28.  
  29.     The (|) will generate a morse dot       --  shorter than dash
  30.  
  31.     The (^) will generate an up arrow       --  like graphics up arrow
  32.  
  33.     The (&) will generate a down arrow      --  like graphics dwn arrow

  36.    I was never happy with the morse dash and dot in text mode. It's easier
  37.    and more versatile to use the dot cursor in <GR> mode to enter morse.
  38.    Same for the up and down arrow.
