OCR: CyberMan 3D Controller from Logitech hand by a vibrating motor . The first few times you get hit really get your attention. Now you don't have to look at your stat bar to see if you are get ting hit, you feel it. Although the game play is fun, we don't think this is where the CyberMan will make it's mark . There are dozens of Homebrew virtual reality applicat- ions being developed using the Cyber- Man as the primary input device . We think that this is where the CyberMan will make it's mark . Many of the discussions going on about using the Cyber- Man for VR apps are going on in the Internet Newsgroup sci. virtual-worlds. We think there area few things to be worked out with the CyberMan before it will become the controller of choice . The game play on some games is fun, but the amount of stress put on your wrist makes it very hard to play with for more than 30 minutes at a time . It would be nice to see Logitech extend the base and add a rest for your wrist . All that said, we think the CyberMan will make it's mark in the low budget home VR market . With the new Head Mounted Displays coming out soon from companies like Fotre and VictorMaxx, for under $800, We expect to see the CyberMan find it's true calling . Steve Gerencser orward Menu ack Exit
