The actual combat takes place after you pay the entrance fee for the tournament. This fee is charged for every battle, so to go into combat, you have to have money . There are 4 tournaments that you must go through, Prenatal Pounding, Rookie Wreckage, Veteran Vivisection, and Senior Slaughter. After each Tournament, you face a champion. To go to the next tourney, you need to defeat this champion. Once you have beaten all the champions, you must beat Gunther, the owner of Mecha Island, to become the Ultimate Champion.
