Profile: Picolette Chardin II is a man who is the master of "Martial Arts Dinner" - a type of martial art in which the martial artist is able to eat food without even being seen to eat food (i.e very quickly). He comes from the long line of Chardins who are all masters of the "Martial Arts Dinner" and have incredibly huge mouths.

Picolette got mixed up with the Tendos and Saotomes when he invited the Tendo girls to his home. This was after Ranma lost an eating match to Picolette in which the loser had to pay the bill. Picolette had invited the girls to his home because he claimed one of them would be his wife, much to their surprise.

The story behind this was that 10 years ago, Soun and Genma had lost a similar eating match to the one Ranma had gone through. The Chardins, in order to extract payment, said that Soun and/or Genma had to give one of their future daughters to be married into the family. Soun and Genma had agreed and now Soun had to send Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane to the Chardin residence. However, Ranma, still angry that she lost to Picolette in the eating match, offered to go as a female and pose as a daughter to be Picolette's wife.

Picolette tells Onna-Ranma that in order to get out of the marriage, she must defeat him at Martial Arts Eating, in a match where you had to eat without being seen eating. Onna-Ranma is put through arduous training, locked in female form through a tight fitting corset given to her by Picolette, and is still not able to defeat Picolette, who has not only a huge but also flexible mouth with which he avoids "martial eating" attacks and sweeps up all the food.

Eventually, Onna-Ranma is able to defeat Picolette by mastering martial arts dinner and also a secret sub-technique of the school called "gourmet de foir gras", which involves feeding the opponent in order to get rid of their own food and also to trick them into being caught eating. Picolette is barely defeated as his last dish was thrown away liek a boomerang by Onna-Ranma, who mangaes to finish all her food in the interval.

Personality: Picolette has an arrogant, confident personality, and thinks he is the master of "Martial Arts Eating". he is determined to catch one of Soun and Genma's daughters to be his wife. Though somewhat kind to women, he is ruthless to his opponents and will try anything within his power as a martial artist in order to win his matches. Picolette also comes from a rich family held in high esteem, which also may affect his personality.
