The Story
A brief synopsis of the story, and profiles of the major characters.

Gundam F91 was Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino's attempt to launch a new Gundam saga, set thirty years after Char's Counterattack. He re-teamed with character designer Yoshikazu "Yas" Yasuhiko and mecha designer Kunio Okawara for the occasion. Originally planned as a full-length television series, Gundam F91 was retooled as a theatrical feature early in the development process. The first thirteen episodes of the planned series were crammed into less than two hours of screen time, with less than satisfactory results.

Those curious about the back story behind Gundam F91's new antagonists, the aristocratic Ronah Family and their Crossbone Vanguard minions, might wish to consult Tomino's two-part novelization. The Tomino-written Crossbone Gundam, meanwhile, shows what has become of the cast of Gundam F91 ten years after the events of the movie.
