Although Site Designer has been created to be as easy, and as stable as possible, you may find that you are having problems acheiving a certain task. This page has been designed to answer some of the commonly asked questions. If none of these seem to help, then there is a link at the bottom of the page that will let you contact a technician, for further help.

Why can't I see my Web site online?
  • Make sure you have the URL typed correctly - it should be in the form
    http://www.moai.instant-net.co.uk
  • Make sure you have uploaded your site before trying to view it on the Web.
  • If you are receiving any form of server error message, then it is possible that the server is having problems - either try again, or, if the problem persists, contact Technical Support, giving the time and date of the error, as well as the error itself.

Why won't my website upload?
  • Make sure your internet connection works - click here
    If a page does not open saying that your modem is working, then please refer to The Guide
  • Make sure your site has a name
  • If you are receiving any error messages whilst attempting to upload your site, check them against the List of known error messages here.
