We need your help with the following:

• We are collecting unpublished Lewis Carroll poems. These may be in letters, book inscriptions, or other locations. If you can help us with this we would appreciate it.

• We are looking for Lewis Carroll letters related to mathematics.

• We always need help with our attempt to create a bibliography of ALL editions of Alice and Looking-Glass in all languages. If you have access to this information and wish to help, we sure could use it.

Upcoming Meetings and Announcements

• The bust of Lewis Carroll sculpted by Graham Piggott presented to Morton Cohen with the appreciation of the LCSNA on March 23, 1998.

• Kay Rossman has donated her extensive collection of Carrolliana to the Syracuse University Library Department of Special Collections. What a wonderful resource they now possess.
• The Spring 1999 meeting will be held in Baltimore. More info to follow.

• 1998 was the centenary year of Dodgson's death. Here is a list of events. As you can see the celebration took place all over the world.

  As good web citizens, we feel that it is our responsibility to add to the wealth of material available on the web. We will do this by adding articles here from time to time and by convincing others to also contribute to web accessible Carroll lore.

  • To Stop a Bandersnatch by Mark Burstein. One man's lifelong search for the meaning of Alice. Now you see it, zen again maybe you don't. It is a saga that may differ in specifics, but in general resonates with many of our own experiences.
