Too many bad blocks defined...redirection table overflow.

Occurs on: SFT II and TTS.

Meaning: This error is generated as the REMIRROR console
command is used to remirror a drive. The new mirror
drive's redirection area is automatically being
rebuilt because it was found to be corrupt. This
error message is displayed if a drive contains more
bad blocks in the bad block table (created by
COMPSURF) than the redirection table can hold. This
is not a fatal error. However, the current remirror
                  process will be aborted.

Cause: This problem could be caused by having created the disk
redirection area smaller than the number of bad blocks
on the disk as indicated by the COMPSURF utility. If
the number of bad blocks on the drive is excessive, this
is an indication that the disk drive is having problems
and should be repaired or replaced.

Solution: If the disk redirection area is extremely small, it
can be enlarged by using the PREPARE utility. The
default size for the disk redirection area is
approximately two percent of the total disk capacity.
Unless the redirection area is extremely small,
enlarging it should be considered only a temporary
solution until the drive can be replaced. It may be
necessary to enlarge the redirection areas of both
mirror drives before they can be remirrored.
