The people of an organization is where reuse must originate. The individuals who have and are now involved with Customer/1 clearly understand the advantages of reuse and strive to maximize it. This is done in spite of various limitations of their environment. Steps need to be taken to ensure that new people have a similar commitment. Andersen Consulting has an extensive initial training and continuing education program. Reuse needs to be integrated into these programs at the lowest and highest levels. Additionally, career maps which describe the various positions within Andersen Consulting and the areas of expertise for each level need to be augment to include criteria which are reuse based.
