U.S. General Services Administration


The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) was established in 1949 and is a central management agency that sets Federal policy in such areas as Federal procurement, real property management, and information resources management. GSA also manages diversified governmentwide operations involving buildings management, telecommunications, consumer information, distribution, child care in the Federal workplace, and the Federal Recycling Program.
