Electronic Commerce Acquisition - Program Management Office (ECA-PMO)
President Clinton issued a Memorandum dated October 28, 1993, directing a task force be convened to develop a Federal strategy to implement Electronic Commerce, Electronic Data Interchange for the Federal acquisition programs. A multi-agency group was assembled under the co-leadership of the General Services Administration and the Department of Defense. The Electronic Commerce Acquisition - Program Management Office has completed their final report titled: Streamlining Procurement Through Electronic Commerce. The report describes the recommended Federal blueprint to implement EC.
