Naval Research Laboratory: Navy's corporate research and development laboratory addressing basic research issues concerning the Navy's environment of sea, sky, and space.
National Oceanographic Data Center: The largest holder of oceanographic datasets in the world, NODC provides ocean data management and ocean data services to researchers and other users.
Satellite Active Archive Home Page: Access to data from NOAA's satellites. Contains desciptive information about those data sets and permits users to search inventories of data holding for availability based upon geographic and date requirements.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration: Data available includes the latest GOES image of the US, the latest weather maps for the US, studies of solar terrestrial physics, information on marine biology, sea surface temperature, etc.
