Dryden Research Facilities

These are the main research facilities located at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center.


Dryden Division XF Facility Vision

Division XF provides affordable research facilities and services which incorporate advanced and innovative processes to meet our customers' evolving requirements on time, every time.
Main Facility (Building 4800)
This is main building (Edwards AFB Building 4800) which houses the Dryden Administrative staff, many of the flight research engineering teams, and two large aircraft hangars.

Integrated Test Facility
This building houses the main Dryden flight simulation facility which allows thorough testing of today's modern aircraft.

Data Analysis Facility
This is Dryden's central computer data analysis facility.

Thermostructural Laboratory
This is Dryden's Thermostructural laboratory. It heats things up.

Western Aeronautical Test Range
This is the Western Aeronautical Test Range (WATR).

Flow Visualization Facility
This the the Flow Visualization Facility.

Audio Visual Facility
The Audio Visual Facility provides state-of-the-art communications and a skilled crew which helps keep Dryden in the forefront of telecommunications.
