El collar negro y el anillo amarillo alrededor del ojo identifican a esta especie. Tamaño: 14 cm.; peso: 9-13 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Anida en el sur de Canadá y el noreste de los Estados Unidos, llegando por el sur hasta las montañas Apalaches. Inverna en América del Sur al este de los Andes. Accidental en la maleza de los bosques secos y húmedos de Puerto Rico. TAXONOMÍA: PASSERIFORMES; PARULIDAE. |
