Ave parecida al Veterano, una especie com·n, pero la mancha alrededor del ojo es mßs estrecha y roja, y la rabadilla es oscura en vez de roja. Tama±o: 9-10 cm. Oriundo de las sabanas del oeste y el centro de ┴frica. Fue introducida a los pastizales y ßreas cultivadas de Puerto Rico problemente desde Mali o Senegal.
