Bonaparte's Gull

Gaviota peque±a de pico negro y una cu±a blanca hacia la punta de las alas. En plumaje nupcial tiene la cabeza negra. Durante el invierno, tiene la cabeza blanca y un punto negro detrßs del ojo. Tama±o: 28-30 cm.; peso: 170-239 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Anida en ßrboles en pantanos desde Alaska hasta el centro de Canadß. Normalmente inverna en las costas de Estados Unidos, las Bahamas y Cuba. Accidental en Puerto Rico (por ejemplo, en el rφo Grande de A±asco y la bahφa de Mayagⁿez, del 3 al 27 de febrero de 2000 y el 27 de enero de 2001).
