BullockÆs Oriole has a large, white, wing patch, and a black and orange pattern on the head. Length: 18 cm.; weight: 29-43 g. Audio (M. Oberle). It breeds in western North America and was formerly lumped with the Baltimore Oriole, because of evidence of limited interbreeding on the Great Plains. Older books refer to the combined group as the Northern Oriole. Accidental in Puerto Rico.

TAXONOMY: PASSERIFORMES; ICTERIDAE.
