Also on the plateau is the sculpture "Children of the Earth" featuring seven children from all corners of the world. It symbolises co-operation, friendship, hope and joy. The hope is that it will stand there for a thousand years.

At the North Cape Centre, better known as the North Cape Hall, one finds everything one could wish for to make the tour complete. You find Compass CafΘ, Restaurant Lois Philippe, a Post office, a souvenir shop, Snack bar and the Supervideograph. In 1988, the Royal North Cape Hall was opened within the cliff. It is situated four floors below ground. The hall itself is built as a theatre auditorium with seating for 300. The club room of the Royal North Cape Club and the "Grotta Bar" with panoramic view.

At North Cape it is possible to see the midnight sun on 77 nights of the year - from 14. May to 30. July. However, the Midnight Sun cannot be laid on to order and it can just as well appear in the middle of May as on Midsummer Eve, or at the end of July.
