Welcome to the Amazon Adventure web pages. The Amazon Adventure ran from 23 July to 17 September 1997. Although the project is over, these pages remain as a resource for schools, teachers, and parents. It is a virtual journey exploring the Amazon river system in Brazil and Peru – meeting the people who live there and showing what it is like travelling in this part of the world. There are also plenty of interesting facts and other information about Amaz⌠nia’s history and environment.
