That's a very relevent point that you bring up and which needs to be properly addressed. With discussion forums I feel many people (including me) have posted things that are basically done without much forethought. There is a tendency on the part of many folks to dehumanize McDonald's executives and managers with insults that are easy to see on these boards. I've been trading postings with one guy who seems to feel that McDonald's PURPOSEFULLY allows children to starve and I simply cannot agree with his position. He's to the point of no-return in his petty resentments and hatreds that I get the feeling that he READS INTO postings rather than READS postings.

That's an example of extremism and it doesn't help and actually makes a lot of issues really muddled. He (and others) don't seem to realize that management is a hard position and that managers have to please their higher-ups or they get demoted or fired. I can relate to the plight even if you don't expect me to.

I'm actually more curious about McD's executives and how they operate than management and workers because my own experiences have been corroborated with many of the testimonials of management and workers (good and bad). I wish a McDonald's executive would send a posting this way instead of leaving the pro-McD's position to management.
