Siamak, judging from the heat of the flame, I guess I pissed you off pretty
good. Perhaps mentalities are different in other regions, but it's true I
have not witnessed many heated encounters between customers and employees.

But I am writing up on events as I have witnessed them in my near 34 years on
this planet. I'm sorry, but I have seen my share of indifference toward myself
and other customers by people in the food service industry and others. When I
visited the Washington, DC area years ago, I witnessed a lot of indifference
and rudeness toward customers. However, McD's was on the ball, just like home,
at least as far as I can remember.

I've seen the best and the worst of people in the service industry. A lot of
McD customers have voiced their dissatisfaction in this room, and the McDonald's
room. Can you dismiss all of them as intolerant blowhards?

KuShanna does sound like someone who wouldn't be happy in any kind of working
environment (No employer is perfect, and mine is no exception.). I could be
wrong about that, to be fair. But I have overheard managers and supervisors
talking about their unreliable employees who come and go like they own the
place. I've witnessed previous employees where I work do the same thing. A
temporary who trained me on a data processing procedure many times didn't
show up if he felt like taking the night off (After this assignment he did
get a full-time job in Archives, direct-hire.).

And then there are people like Jackie, who bragged in an earlier post about
ripping off his McD's owner (food and money), and in more recent posts whines
about how he's abused by customers and bosses. Elsewhere in McSpotlight, someone
who called himself "Bacon hater" suggested a bogus coupon scheme to rip off
McD's using the Net.

So perhaps the above examples have created a bias on my behalf. But there is
plenty of evidence that many of the employees who bitch about their jobs and the customers
are not saints.
