New evidence: Veggie Burgers WILL work!

There has been much skepticism expressed here (Mike Bacon et all) about the viability of veggie burgers.
From the latest issue of Vegetarian Times magazine:
A (U.S.) nationwide survey by Health Focus of supermarket shoopers reports:
- since 1990, the number of consumers eating a vegetarian meal at least once a weak increased 30%
- 15% of shoppers reach for meat substitutes (like veggie patties) at least once a week, double the number in 1992.
The trend is clear. McDonald's must either change or die.
