I'm glad to hear the insurance company decided to cover the expenses!
Most firms have "open enrollment" for new hirees. I also had a preexisting
condition (asthma) when I was hired by my current employer in '89. If
there is anything good at all I can say about my insurance (now manaaged
care) provider (let alone ANY managed care/medical insurance), at least
I was accepted without a problem. Before I go, tell your husband to
avoid any firm (if he can I know sometimes you have to take what you can
find) that has a contract with KAISER PERMANENTE!!! They are a bunch of
crooked bastards!!! You probably are aware of this if you regularly
watch the news. People have DIED because of their shitty, negligent
"care".
