  1. An invasion  force  of  aliens
  2. were defeated by  the Starship
  3. ZARK as they orbited Venus.
  4.  
  5. The labs at Earth's station on
  6. Venus have sent down  a  self-
  7. propelled   ball  of  uranium,
  8. dubbed "Patchwork Heart", deep
  9. into the crust  of the planet,
  10. to destroy the horrid monsters
  11. that  appeared soon after ZARK
  12. destroyed the invading aliens. 
  13.  
  14. The creatures appear to be the
  15. animated  organs of  the  very
  16. same  monsters.   This  sounds
  17. incredible  but that's the way
  18. this author calls it!     
  19.  
  20. The uranium's radiation should
  21. hold the monsters  at bay, yet
  22. in case it doesn't,  a special
  23. amplification   crystal    was
  24. installed.
