  3. Here are a few helpful hints on using The DISC!'s custom interface:

  6. LAUNCH    This button generally launches the executable file that
  7.           runs the program or demo you're using. Depending on a
  8.           particular program's setup system, this button may or may
  9.           not be active.
  10.  
  11. READ ME   This button is used with some programs that require extra
  12.           information to run, or that have read-me files that
  13.           explain technical or procedural steps.
  14.  
  15. INSTALL   The Install button is generally used to run an install
  16.           or setup program. As with the Launch button, this may
  17.           vary depending on the demands or procedures of individual
  18.           programs.
  19.  
  20. HELP      This button brings up the brief guide to the user
  21.           interface that you're using now.
  22.  
  23. QUIT      The Quit button lets you return to the Windows interface.

  26.      In general terms, if you are having trouble running or
  27. installing a program from Windows, try running or installing the
  28. program from the DOS prompt. With such a wide variety of programs
  29. and demos, you will find a similar variety of launch and run
  30. procedures.

  32.     If you have never had the opportunity to install Video for Windows,
  33. then you will find an installable runtime version in the sub-directory \winvideo.
  34. Simply go to that directory and run 'setup'... the video viewer will then be
  35. installed on your hard drive and you will be able to watch our video clips.
