  11. Welcome to Flow Charting 4!
  12.  
  13. Please read this document carefully. It contains important
  14. information that may have been corrected or omitted in the
  15. User's Guide and Tutorial, as well as changes to the latest
  16. release of Flow Charting.

  26. 1.1 How to un-install Flow Charting 4
  27.  
  28. When you install Flow Charting 4, most of the needed files are
  29. copied to the directory you specify when you run the SETUP.EXE
  30. program. To uninstall these files, simply delete all of the
  31. files in the directory; then delete the directory. Use the File
  32. Manager or DOS commands to delete the files.

  34. In addition to the files in the main directory, one additional
  35. file is created in your local Windows directory -- PATTON.INI.
  36. This file should be deleted as well. Flow Charting 4 does not
  37. modify any other Windows INI files.

  39. Finally, select the icons in your Flow Charting 4 group window
  40. and delete them, and then delete the group window.

  44. 1.2 Notes about the ALT key with certain keyboards
  45.  
  46. On certain systems and keyboards, the ALT key appears to remain
  47. pressed even after you release it. For instance, when you type
  48. Alt+F, you activate the file menu. If the key is stuck, typing
  49. the letter, F, will also activate the menu.
  50.  
  51. The Alt key is used to temporarily reverse the Reflective Resizing
  52. feature and the Stick-Lines-To-Objects feature. If your system
  53. seems to be locking the Alt key, we have provided an alternate
  54. method to get the same functionality.
  55.  
  56. Simply press the 'A' key whenever the User's Guide or Tutorial
  57. tells you to press the Alt key. The 'A' key provides exactly
  58. the same functionality as the Alt key, but it will not stick.
