  23. Flight Recorder uses the complex flight model and high frame rate of the
  24. flight sim Fighter Duel Pro to produce realistic flight animation.
  25. The program extracts the position and direction of your aircraft and enemy
  26. aircraft every 1/30th of a second and converts the data into format-specific
  27. files for use with Lightwave 3D, Imagine, and VistaPro.  Typically the files
  28. will be used to provide motion for an object or camera, but formats for
  29. creating objects that render complete flight paths as line or wing-sweep
  30. traces are also included.

  35. demo files, which are exact recreations of flights.  Pilots will be able to

  69. Included in this archive is an example of a flight in Lightwave scene format.
  70. To view this example, put the objects in your Toaster/3D/Objects directory,
  71. the motions into your Toaster/3D/Motions directory and load the
  72. FlightTest.scene from the Scenes directory into Lightwave, set the grid size
  73. to 2000, set view for camera, and make a preview. The example shows an
  74. aircraft flying a complex set of maneuvers over what we call a Wingsweep
  75. object of the flight.
