======== SELECT PRINTER PORT ========
If you don't know which PORT to use:
First, try PORT 1 ( this is the default, and the most common )
then, PORT 2.
then, PORT 3.
If that doesn't work, go ask a friend who knows a lot about
computers what you should do next.
Normally you don't have to worry, just select PORT 1.
IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE:
1 - GO BACK TO THE MAIN MENU.
2 - SELECT --O-- PRINTER OPTIONS.
3 - SELECT --D-- PRINTER PORT DIAGNOSTIC
CASEY WILL SHOW YOU THE STATE OF YOUR PRINTER PORT.
( WHEN CASEY PRINTS, HE ONLY LOOKS AT THE "BUSY" SIGNAL )
IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE A SOFTWARE "SECURITY" DEVICE IN THE
PRINTER PORT, AND PRINTING ACTS WRONG: THE SECURITY DEVICE HAS
FAILED. ASK YOUR VENDOR FOR A NEW KEY! THIS IS HAPPENING VERY
OFTEN LATELY. CASEY CANNOT OVERRIDE A DEFECTIVE KEY!
We currently don't support COM PORTS for printing.

====== PRINTER SOFT FONT CONTROL ======
1 - NORMAL: This causes CASEY to:
A - Download all soft fonts needed for this calendar.
B - If the font has already been downloaded since running CASEY
this time, the font will not be re-downloaded.
C - The calendar is printed.
D - When you QUIT CASEY, all of the fonts which CASEY downloaded
will be erased from the printers' memory.
NOTE: Soft Fonts take up considerable memory in your Laser Printer.
If you see your fonts changing to COURIER when you print out,
your printer has run out of font memory, and you should
select item 4: RESET PRINTER MEMORY FONTS, which will clear
out your printer memory and reload the fonts.
2 - LAN: This causes CASEY to:
A - Download all soft fonts needed for this calendar.
B - Print the calendar.
C - Clear the printer memory of the downloaded fonts.
3 - ADVANCED: Like NORMAL, except if you run CASEY several times during
the day, CASEY will not re-download any fonts which he has
already downloaded in previous CASEY sessions.
NOTE: If you turn your printer off, the fonts which CASEY expects
to be there, won't be there, and COURIER will print.
If this happens, Briefly select: ADVANCED: RESET: to force
CASEY to start his font downloading process over again.
4 - ADVANCED: RESET PRINTER MEMORY FONTS NOW (START NEW SESSION)
Use this option to erase every font which CASEY has downloaded
to your printer, and to tell CASEY that the printer contains
no CASEY fonts. CASEY will start the font downloading process
from scratch.
