ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. General Help for Banner Module ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This module displays any text you select, up to 100 characters, with the font
size and style you select, in the colors you select. When running, the text you
select will scroll across the screen, in the direction you specify, either
changing position vertically each time the text scrolls off the screen, or
remaining centered at all times. You can also include the current date and
time in the text.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.1. Banner Text ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
This entry field allows you to enter any text you desire (up to 100
characters). You can pull down the list box to see most recently used text by
clicking on the small button on the right hand side of the field. To display
the date or time, enter /d or /t for the date in mm/dd/yy format and time in
hh:mm:ss format. The current date and time will be substituted when the text
is displayed.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.2. Font ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Click this button to display the OS/2 standard Font Change Dialog. With the
Font Change Dialog, you can change the font style, size, and attributes
(underline/bold, etc) that are used to display the selected text. Please note
that it is usually possible to display a larger point size than the maximum
listed size by simply entering the larger font size.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.3. Background ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
With this control you can set the screen background color to any of the
displayed colors by clicking the mouse on the desired color.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.4. Foreground ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
With this control you can set the screen foreground(text) color to any of the
displayed colors by clicking the mouse on the desired color.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.5. Vertical Position ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Set the vertical position to set each time the text scrolls off the screen.
Options are:
o Center Text is always centered in the screen.
o Random The text will be randomly moved around the screen.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.6. Direction ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Sets the direction of the text movement.
o L to R The complete text will be displayed starting in the leftmost position
on the screen, and will scroll towards the right until all of the text
scrolls off the screen.
o R to L The text will scroll onto the right hand side of the screen one
character at a time, and proceed to the left hand side of the screen until
all of the text scrolls off the display. This is the best choice for long
text strings.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.7. Speed ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Set this slider control to control the speed at which the text moves. You can
set the slider by dragging the handle to an appropriate position, by clicking
to the right or left of the handle, or by clicking on the arrows.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.8. Save Settings? ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Check this box to save your current settings when you close the screen saver.
This is only active in the registered version of the screen saver program. If
this box is not checked, any changes you have made will be active only until
the screen saver is ended, or another module is selected.

Click this button to accept the changes you have made.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.10. Cancel ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Click this button to discard any changes you have made on the settings screen.
