News and changes in OS/2-Commander version 1.00
===============================================
- 4DOS/4OS2 .BTM files will be treated as executable files.
- Internal and external viewer available in Find function.
- View of GIF resolution did not work.
- 'NoESCQuit' in OS2COM.INI, section [StartUp] don't allows program quit
with ESC key.
- The Shift-F-Keys are now available with the mouse.
- Extracting several tagged files out of an archive sometimes caused an error.
- With ALT-F5 you can now create a new archive with the tagged files.
- 'DontAskF10' in OS2COM.INI, section [StartUp] suppresses the "Dou you
want to quit..." question with F10.
- 'RestOrgPath' in OS2COM.INI, section [Arcer] allows you to restore the
original pathes when copying files out of an archive.
- STRG-Enter in the QuickSearch funktions brings you to the next match.
- Fixed problems with Warp 3 on some systems.
- Speeded up the scrolling in large directories with FILES.BBS or DESCRIPT.ION
description aktivated .
- Added /BW command line parameter to start OS/2-Commander in black&white
mode because I'm not sure if the detection of a color monitor works on all
systems with OS/2 Warp 3. That does not change very much, most colors can
and must be configured in OS2COM.INI.
- Fixed a problem with RAR archives with authentification verification.
- New variable [%T] for OS2COM.MNU.
[%T] in a command line executes the command once for each tagged file.
- Added support for the WCD database. Use CTRL-F7 oder type WCD <dirname> to
change to a directory. All WCD environment switches are supported.
Please read the WCD manual for more information.
The OS/2-Commander does not support an WCD database update yet, I'll
do this in a future version.
Please read WCD.TXT for more information about WCD.
- The Select/UnSelect functions is now also available with CTRL-<+> and
CTRL-<->. That should make it easier to use this functions on notebooks.
- Many windows can now be confirmed with right mouse button and canceled
with left mouse button.
