  10. I used to list the features of ncftp in this blurb, but there are just
  11. too many to list.  Even if you only ftp occasionally, it is worth your
  12. time to install ncftp (or atleast bug your sysadmin to).  If you won't take
  13. my word for it, just ask around, or extract this archive and read the
  14. man page.

  16. 1.6.0 is an "evolutionary" upgrade, which consolidates all the previous
  17. patches and adds a little.  1.6 and 1.5 are "interim" versions between
  18. 2.0 which has been suspended indefinitely due to time constraints.
