  6. topics are covered:

  16. 1.)  Installing the Warp Patch
  17. ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════

  19. Whether you are running OS/2 2.11 or OS/2 Warp, you should download and apply
  20. the Warp patch.  The patch contains two executable files, DCF2ACP.EXE and
  21. DCF2VCP.EXE, which will replace their counterparts in your DCF2 program
  22. directory.
  23.  
  24. The changes to DCF2ACP.EXE fix a Warp startup bug and the shared memory memory
  25. lock bug.  The shared memory memory lock bug has also been reported (but to a
  26. lesser degree) under OS/2 2.11.
  27.  
  28. The changes to DCF2VCP.EXE enable a faster, non-destructive autocheck and
  29. the nowait on autocheck.
  30.  
  31. Installing the patch is easy as "1-2-3":  1.) Stop the DCF/2 (change to the DCF2
  32. program directory and type:  DCF2 /-).  2.) Copy the two executables
  33. (DCF2ACP.EXE and DCF2VCP.EXE) to your DCF2 program directory.  3.) Restart the
  34. DCF/2 (from the DCF2 program directory, type:  DCF2 /+).

  47. file, if appropriate.

  49. Online technical support is available to both registered and unregistered users
  50. through the Proportional Software OS2BBS CForum (OS2DCF2 via IBM TalkLink and
  51. Advantis) and through the Proportional Software Vendor Forum on CompuServe
  52. (GO OS2AVEN).

  56. 3.)  DCF/2 Version 1.4 -- Improves Performance!

  59. The newest version of the DCF/2 (version 1.4) provides you with enhanced
  60. performance (up to twice as fast as version 1.2) and greater reliability.  The
  61. update is free to customers who have purchased annual maintenance agreements
  62. or who purchased the DCF/2 after September 15, 1994 (proof of purchase is
  63. required).

  65. The update disk is available to DCF/2 customers without annual maintenance
  66. agreements for $24.95 plus shipping and handling (U.S. -- $3.50, Canada --
  67. $4.00, Europe -- 6.00, and Asia & the Pacific  -- $7.00).
