I have been viewing your fine magazine since episode #5, however recent events have upset both self, (and judging from letters in episode #19) others. What happened to the demos? I recently purchased episode #19 specifically because it advertised a demo of both Shannara and more importantly Warcraft II. All I got for my $10.00 was a preview that I would have expected to find within the magazine proper. What gives? I've also noted that there was no game. Granted the games you used to include were old, but they certainly made it worth the price.
In addition to no Warcraft demo on your disc it was also interesting to note that Blizzard also advertised the ability to "download a free demo of Warcraft II" from their website, and to be frank it was an on-line slideshow. Bullfrog also claimed to have an interactive demo of Dungeonkeeper on their website which turned out to be a piss poor avi clip. My question is this: Is it us the fans of both games magazines such as yours who are mistaken in our definition of what a game demo is supposed to be or is the term "demo" taking on the same commonness of terms like "virtual reality" and "fully interactive"?
Needless to say I was bitterly disappointed with what I got for My $10.00 this time around. That's not to say that I won't purchase your product in the future, but you can bet your sweet patoot I'll be alot more cautious.
Keep up the otherwise good work and intentions, and I eagerly await more
