  8. No, with the possible exception of the CD-ROM.  The version of MSCDEX
  9. that Windows '95 provides doesn't allow Executor to directly access
  10. the CD-ROM drive, so it can't read Mac formatted CD-ROMs, so you need
  11. to boot to DOS and use the older version of MSCDEX (this may require
  12. you to adjust your config.sys and autoexec.bat files).

  24. Mac floppy?  If it's formatted at 1.4 Mb, then the floppy should just
  25. work.  If it's an external Mac hard disk, you'll have to have ASPI
  26. loaded.  In either case you should probably make an HFV and copy from
  27. the original to your HFV and test within the HFV.

  31. Executor 2 is late into beta.  We're hoping to burn our first attempt
  32. at a master E2 CD-ROM sometime this week.  Version 3 is mostly just a
  33. twinkle in our eyes now, although some significant work on VCPU and
  34. serial ports has been done and we're also talking with Apple, which
  35. could dramatically speed things up.

  45. *Many* programs will not run under Executor.  Check the FAQ and check
  46. ftp://ftp.ardi.com/pub/AppNotes.  We're in the process of both
  47. updating the info in AppNotes and reformatting it so it can be
  48. accessed through Melissa's new Web interface, but that's taking a
  49. while since we're also pushing hard at getting E2 out the door as well
  50. as lining up money with which to advertise E2 as well as talking with
  51. Apple about ways in which ARDI and Apple can cooperate.
