  1. You should check with Adaptec to make sure your computer bios and the 2940
  2. bios are compatible.  They had some problems with the new 2940 cards (bios
  3. 1.2x) and the Award bios (ver 4.50?).  I have a 2940 and have no problems
  4. with it running Executor etc.
