  1. I downloaded the Beta version of Executor and would like to say that it is
  2. VERY nice. The splash screen is great, and the browser enhancements make it
  3. much more appealing.

  5. I have been trying to get ResExpress to work with Exewcutor for a while,
  6. since ResEdit isn't stable and Resourcerer won't save anything. When I
  7. dragged it to the Hot Band, it installed and I ran it from the Browser. It
  8. looked as though it was going to work fairly well. When I tryed to configure
  9. it from the menu it gave me a Privilege Violation and exited to the Browser
  10. (which is better than crashing as it did in previous versions). Then, after
  11. exiting Executor and running it again, I tried to run ResExpress again. This
  12. time it crashed right away w/o any message. When I tried to remove it from
  13. the Hot Band, it was not there. So I tried to delete the Sytem.ard file and
  14. it gave me a screwed-up dialog box saying "This file has no resource fork,
  15. would you like to create one?" Then if you select YES it asks you to rename a
  16. file (which it doesn't actually do). So I can't delete the System.ard file
  17. and will have to reinstall Executor.

  19. I know you weren't going to fiddle with Font/DA support until after Beta0
  20. ships, but I thought this would help you.
