- I think there are a couple of problems:

- * Many customers will be scared off if they have to buy used ROMs and
- drives from a separate location. Many people will just stick to buying
- and using SE/30 itself. Otherwise, ARDI will have to license MAC ROMs
- from Apple. But this will raise the price and probably ARDI won't be
- able to distribute the demo for free.

- * Mac ROMs and system are written in m68k assembler. Emulating services
- like QuickDraw might be much slower than implementing them directly in
- C. ShapeShifter runs on m68k itself, so it doesn't have this problem.
