- I was reading about the upcoming update for the MacOS known as Copland.
- Apple will apparently, to cope with the growing clone market and
- incompatibility issues, introduce a hardware abstaction layer (HAL),
- making the new operating system ROM independent and disk based.

- Won't this make development of Executor a lot easier, if Apple can
- deliver on HAL?

- Could all the effort going into replicating the functionality of the ROMs
- be going to waste, as all that would be needed is to buy Copland and
- install it over the emulated hardware.
