- Wolf3D is actually pretty fast if your system is set up to let Wolf3D
- directly access your svga card. To do that (under Executor/DOS, which
- I assume you are using), you need UniVBE installed (so you get a VBE
- 2.0 compatible video driver) and you need to run Executor under plain
- DOS (without QEMM, etc.) If you can't do that, turning on "use
- quickdraw" in the Wolf3D menu helps, and make sure that "refresh" mode
- is off in the alt-shift-5 preferences panel.

- The eccentricities of PC video hardware make it difficult for Executor
- to run certain Mac games at the proper speed. In general, games are
- not a very good benchmark for anything but games. :-)
