  12. This problem has been reported on a few different systems.  In each
  13. case, the problem has been that svgalib was configured for the wrong
  14. mouse type, or /dev/mouse was a symlink to the wrong device.

  16. Double check the svgalib config file (/etc/vga/libvga.config), and if
  17. that looks OK see if you can get svgalib's mousetest to work on your
  18. system.
