  11. It sounds like one of two things is happening:

  13. 1) Your video board doesn't support linear frame buffers.
  14.  
  15. 2) Your card does support them but UniVBE doesn't know how to
  16.    enable them on your video card.
  17.  
  18. To be safe you can type "executor -info" and make sure it says it
  19. detects a VBE 2.0 compatible driver.  If it doesn't, that suggests a
  20. UniVBE installation problem.

  22. Do you have a friend whose video card you could borrow for testing
  23. purposes?
