  1. I am pleased to report that HyperCard 2.1 runs under Executor 1.99p5
  2. (at least the NEXTSTEP/Intel version). It used to run read-only and
  3. only if you set the refresh rate to 10. But now it runs (animation
  4. is slow, but that's okay by me) and you can create your own stacks.

  6. I am very pleased. I don't expect perfect tools. I expect tools to
  7. help me get my job done. Having HyperCard, ClarisWorks, and Word
  8. gives me enough tools to be able to not have a Mac yet still teach
  9. the CS 101 course here that uses Macs as well as Continuing Education
  10. courses. I need to be able to try things out, get screenshots for
  11. handouts, and exchange files/disks with colleagues and students.
  12. Executor lets me do that.

  14. I'm anxiously waiting for that NEXTSTEP/Motorola port but know that
  15. you will do it well.
