  3. as I mentioned in a mail before my wife thinks about using executor to run a
  4. cad program (By the way executor seems to be fast enough to do something
  5. like that!).

  7. Yesterday I checked the printing capabilities. Here are the results :-(
  8.  
  9. - there is no color
  10. - rotated text is not rotated in the printing
  11. - areas filled with a color (e.g. white) will not be filled in the printout.
  12.   The things located under the area become visible.
  13. - there are NaN's in the generated postscript. The postscript generation
  14.   process seems to have problems with some calculations
  15.   (I stripped the lines containing the NaN's and got some output in ghostview)
  16. - There is another error in the generated Postscript code:
  17.   there are many lines saying
  18.     0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 rectclip
  19.   which means the clipregion has no size. Therefore no drawing is visible
  20.   If I change the zeros to some `reasonable' values some of the lost
  21.   elements become visible.
  22. - (Umlauts are not printed - this problem is known. But I would like to
  23.   say that it is neccessay for us to have umlauts!)

  25. What are the plans of ardi in respect to printing?  I hope you will manage
  26. to eliminate all these problems! It would be too bad if executor would not
  27. be usable for real world problems because of such problems!

  33. P.S I did not get any response to my last mail concerning the problems with
  34. RagTime, Excel and Word. Did you receive my mail? Or am I simply too 
  35. impatient  ;-)
