  3. 1.99o is out.  ftp.ardi.com is fairly swamped, so you might want to go
  4. to vorlon.mit.edu.

  9. There is also an alternate distribution for DOS which can easily be
  10. installed using two floppy disks.

  12. Please note, this is largely a maintenance release -- I suggest that
  13. people use it instead of the previous bleeding edge patches though.
  14. There is very little new functionality in 1.99o that wasn't in 1.99n5.

  16. There is not a NEXTSTEP port of 1.99o; progress has been made on the
  17. port, but Cotton's plane tickets were bought in advance, so now that
  18. he's here, Hackathon I is in full swing and all that we'll be working
  19. on is core technology (i.e. bug fixes that will benefit all of our
  20. users).  We will resume work on the NEXTSTEP port in two weeks, when
  21. Hackathon I is over.

  23. BTW, both Mat and I still have some e-mail to process (I think I have
  24. about 80 pieces).  After I finish getting the back orders of Executor
  25. out that piled up last week when Vaune quit, I'll get current in my
  26. e-mail.  Order taking, bug report noting and question answering will
  27. continue during the hackathon.
