  1.  I have noticed certain bugs in Executor. There are bugs within the file
  2. system. When I try to rename a file, under the \System\Utilities
  3. subdirectory from a lowercased to a uppercase name, the file disappears.
  4. I also tried to use Stuff-It!, ver 1.5.1 to compress Tank Commander. I
  5. also make a subdirectory called Tank and Tank Commander. I tried to
  6. compress the file into the later folder. However, when I did it and
  7. exited, I tried to use Stuff-It! to access the file. However, the
  8. Exsystem.HFV became corrupt. (I.e. when you change subdirectories under
  9. the standard dialog box, I couldn't change the folders. This occurred
  10. when I tried accessing the \System\Utilities\Tank Commander folder.) I
  11. tried to repeat the process using the Tank subdirectory. Again, this
  12. occurred. Why does this occur? I also noticed that Executor crashes when
  13. you run the SoftPC Installer program, and when trying to decompress
  14. certain SAEs. (SAEs are Self-Extracting Archives.)
  15.  I have also discovered that when I try to download a file from a
  16. Macintosh BBS, that neither Macindos nor Executor recognizes the file. I
  17. have called Apple Computer, Inc. and told them this problem. The
  18. representative told me that the creator signature is somehow lost.
  19. DOS does not support the Mac HFS filing system. So, when you download a
  20. file from a Mac BBS, you lose the creator signature. Therefore, Executor
  21. can't recognize the file. I also experimented and found there was a copy
  22. of Pkware's Pkunzip/Pkunzip compression program supported in ZipIt!
  23. 1.2.6. By using ZipIt! 1.2.6, the resource fork, data fork, finder fork,
  24. headers, and creator signature are remained intact in the archive. I have
  25. also noticed that Stuffit Expander crashes. Finally, I've concluded that
  26. you can also use UUencoding/UUdecoding in order to transfer files from a
  27. Mac to a PC using Executor. Thank you for your time.
